Information collected
The readiness checker may collect name, email, phone, preferred contact method, property address, city, county, mortgage-stage category, sale-date preview, document-readiness category, language, consent selections, source domain, and a short non-private note. The dedicated SMS opt-in page uses the LeadConnector chat widget, which may collect name, mobile phone, message, and SMS consent. SMS opt-in is collected only through that widget for the current A2P review path.
Operator identity
The website brand is California Short Sale Options. Unless a separate DBA or legal entity is filed and approved, the operator identity for compliance review is Jeffrey David Bord.
How information is used
Information is used to route and respond to a sale-options review request, prepare internal intake records, maintain compliance evidence, and improve non-PII site performance. We do not use public form data to make automated lender, legal, tax, credit, or foreclosure decisions.
Cookies and tracking information
Essential storage may be used for form progress and site operation. Analytics, advertising pixels, and embedded media are disabled unless enabled after a separate privacy choice or approved launch gate. Public form fields must not be used to send loan numbers, Social Security numbers, bank credentials, exact balances, or document text into analytics.
Call and meeting recording
Phone calls, video calls, screen-share meetings, voicemail messages, and similar communications may be recorded only after clear notice and consent. Recordings may be used for quality assurance, training, education, compliance review, dispute prevention, audit evidence, and recordkeeping. If you do not consent to a recording, say so before the recording starts or ask to continue by an unrecorded method when available.
No sharing of SMS opt-in data
Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in records, and text-message consent are used only to provide requested reminders or response communications. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted only as needed to operate requested communications.
Data security practices
Public intake records are limited to routing information and are handled through controlled internal systems. Secure document upload remains disabled until a separate approved process is active. Access to contact and intake records should be limited to staff or service providers who need the information to respond to the request.
User rights and choices
You may request an update, correction, deletion, or copy of your contact information by using the public phone or email on this website. You may unsubscribe from SMS by texting STOP and may ask for help by texting HELP. SMS opt-in through the LeadConnector chat widget is optional and is not required to submit a sale-options review request.
Sensitive information
Do not submit loan numbers, Social Security numbers, bank credentials, exact payoff balances, full hardship narratives, or document images through the public form. Secure document upload remains disabled until a separate approved upload process is active.
Contact
For privacy requests, use the contact email and phone shown in the site footer.
